The table is booked! Our meeting on Tuesday 13th March will be at Malabon, Dragon Street, Petersfield, at 20:30. Aperitifs will be just up the road at the Red Lion from about 19:30. But it's a case of first come, first served!
Malabon told us that they're very busy every night of the week now that 'Spice Lounge has closed'(!). I don't spend much time in Petersfield in the evenings (except for Curry Club nights), so I didn't know.
We've booked for eight people and the first seven (after me) to reply are guaranteed a place at the table. After that, we'll be negotiating with the restaurant and the later the reply, the more difficult it becomes. There's a possibility that late replies or anyone turning up at the pub without replying will be on a separate table; not what anyone really wants. Members are asked please let us know a.s.a.p. An e-mail notice will be sent shortly, or you can use the feedback form on our web site, but please let us know.
Looking forward to some good and spicy food to warm us up after the recent cold spell - hope to see as many as can make it on the 13th!

Tuesday 13th February - Madhuban
The table is booked! After taking a month off in January, we're back in February with a trip to Madhuban in Liss. Aperitifs will be at the Spread Eagle from about 19:30 and then dinner is at 20:30.
Yes, it's half term week, and Valentine's night on the 14th, but we love the cooking and the welcome at Madhuban, and this is one not to be missed. Please let me know either by using the feedback page on our web site or by responding to the members' e-mail, whether you expect to make it or not.
Hope to see many of our members there for a great evening!

Wednesday 13th December - Spice Lounge
Our table is booked at Spice Lounge for Wednesday 13th, and the kulchi lamb will be done the way we like it. Aperitifs will be at the Old Drum from about 19:30 and then dinner will be at 20:30. In order to know how many legs of lamb we need to order, please can members let me know by Sunday night (10th December) whether or not they expect to make it? As usual, please respond using the feedback page on the web site or reply to the e-mail to be sent to members shortly.
We cancelled the November meeting because so many people were away, some of them in really exotic parts of the world. We hope everyone is back in one piece for December. Spice Lounge is a favourite and a fine way to round off the Curry Club year. Looking forward to a great evening!

Tuesday 14th November - Paradise Balti
Updated 13th Nov: Meeting cancelled - too many people away!
The table is booked! As the pyrotechnics of the Bonfire Night weekend begin, it's time to let everyone know about the plans for the last two months of the year.
We'll be returning to the Paradise Balti for our November meeting on Tuesday 14th. Aperitifs will be at the Old Drum, from about 19:30, and then dinner will be at 20:30.
Our final dinner of 2017 will be at the Spice Lounge on Tuesday 12th December. Once again, we plan to meet beforehand at the Old Drum. A notice will be sent out to members nearer the date.
In October, we had a most enjoyable evening at Chilli Nights, but not very many managed the long journey north from Petersfield to Haslemere. Please let us know either using the feedback page on the web site or in response to the e-mail notice to members whether you expect to be at Paradise Balti or not.
Paradise Balti are always very happy to see us and the staff make a big effort to please everyone. Looking forward to a great evening!

Chilli Nights - Tues 10 October
The table is booked! Our October venue is Chilli Nights, Weyhill, Haslemere, where we'll meet on Tuesday 10th. Aperitifs will be at the restaurant from about 19:30 and then we'll aim to start dinner soon after 20:30.
Please would members let me know by Sunday 8th whether they expect to be there, either using the feedback page on the web site, or in response to the e-mail notice to be sent out shortly. As well as on-street parking on Weyhill and round St Christoper's Green, there's lots of space on the Wey Hill 'fairground' car park off St Christopher's Road, down the side of Shahanaz; there's a map at the bottom of this page.
The restaurant's home page says "Our Restaurant has recently undergone a complete refurbishment and is fully licensed. Our menu has also been heavily revised and includes many new dishes as well as a few of our Chef's own specialities." So as usual we can look forward to some interesting and tasty food, and maybe something new too.
