Our History

Welcome to Gurkha Garden, your premier destination for authentic Nepalese cuisine, available for takeaway. Nestled in the heart of Hindhead, Gurkha Garden brings the rich flavors and culinary traditions of Nepal to your doorstep, offering a unique and delicious dining experience that’s both convenient and satisfying.

At Gurkha Garden, we are passionate about sharing the diverse and vibrant flavors of Nepalese cuisine. Our menu features a wide array of traditional dishes, meticulously prepared by our experienced chefs using fresh, high-quality ingredients and time-honored recipes. From the spicy heat of our Khasiko Masu to the comforting warmth of our momo dumplings, every dish is crafted to transport your taste buds to the majestic Himalaya

This sounds like a new restaurant but it's not. Also despite the blurb, it really is in the middle of Grayshott, exactly where the Manzil, Gurkha Durbar and Himalayan Garden were. The history doesn't mention its recent predecessors but we understand that the leading characters - apart from the owner - are exactly the same. So we'll see some familiar faces when we visit!

As usual when we visit Grayshott, aperitifs will be at the Fox and Pelican from about 19:00 and then dinner will be at 20:00.  Please use the feedback form on the website or respond to this email to members to let us know if you expect to be there.
